Kathleen K. Starkoff
Chief Information Officer
Kathleen Starkoff is the Chief Information Officer for The Ohio State University. As CIO, she is responsible for leveraging technology in innovative ways to advance and support the university's mission and goals and for guiding IT policy and security, emerging technologies, external affairs, strategic planning and communication, and project management services.
Ms. Starkoff has more than 20 years of information technology experience in the private sector. She came to Ohio State from Limited Brands, where she was group vice president and chief technology officer. Prior to her service at Limited Brands, she was senior vice president and chief technology officer for Banc One Corporation. Her financial services experience also includes technology leadership roles in application development and support for KeyCorp and National City Corporation. Her technology career began at IBM.
She earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from Kent State University with minors in business administration and chemistry.
