Sheila Craft

Strategic Planning Analyst

Sheila has worked in the Office of Institutional Research and Planning for over seven years. She holds a B. A. in English from Ohio State and a Master of Library Science from Kent State University. She is currently pursuing a Juris Doctor at Capital University Law School.

Key Responsibilities

• External Reporting
• Sheila works with various offices on campus to coordinate the collection and reporting of University data to external agencies (CDS, US News & World Report, IPEDS, Barron’s).
• Survey Administration
• Sheila manages all of the regular surveys that the office administers (National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE), the Faculty Survey and the Graduate and Professional Student Survey) and creates ad hoc surveys as needed.
• Data Analysis and Reporting
• Sheila analyzes data and creates reports for several of the office's annual reports including Strategic Indicators and Academic Plan Scorecard and responds to ad hoc requests from different offices on campus and from other universities.
• Web site Management:
• Sheila manages the Institutional Research and Planning, Statistical Summary, and IR at OSU web sites.

Sheila is a member of the Association for Institutional Research and the Ohio Association of Institutional Research and Planning. She is also the alternate representative to the AAU Data Exchange.
