Mission
The mission of the Office of Academic Affairs at The Ohio State University is to create and support an environment that advances our institutional mission of achieving international distinction in education, scholarship, and public service.
As the entity charged with enhancing the academic reputation of the university, the Office of Academic Affairs:
- encourages research and creative endeavors of international distinction;
- supports the recruitment, development, and retention of top-rank faculty and staff;
- promotes a dynamic learning environment that prepares students to be enlightened, articulate, and engaged citizens in a global society;
