Quarter to Semester Calendar Conversion
Updates:
- A series of town meetings organized by college cluster have been scheduled to discuss semester conversion.

In June 2009, the University Senate voted to adopt a new academic calendar that will become effective in Autumn 2012. Following that vote the Office of Academic Affairs established the Executive Coordinating Committee. The committee is comprised of faculty, staff, regional campuses, deans, students, and partner colleges and will meet monthly as a central forum to guide the university's transition. Several subcommittees will focus on key issues including graduate education, space, information technology, communications, curriculum, student advising, student life and business operations.
Each academic department has now assigned a contact person for the process.
This webpage will be updated regularly and contain key information concerning the transition, including materials from meetings of the Coordinating Committee, subcommittees, and announcements to the university community.
