Campus
Bikeway Subdistrict Plan . Laura Shinn presented an update
on the Campus Bikeway Subdistrict Plan. They are now in the
process of putting together the team. It was suggested that
someone from Public Safety be appointed to the team.
2005-2006
Basic Renovation Requests . There was discussion of the
Capital Bill and how it will impact the 2005-2006 Basic Renovation
monies. There has already been a 6% cut and it is anticipated
that there will be an additional 10% - 20% cut.
The
committee also discussed the BR proposals that were submitted and
cost estimated by Gilbane Company. There were eleven requests.
The list was narrowed down to seven requests to recommend
to Bill Shkurti and Barbara Snyder to move forward in the process
for possible renovation funding.
Update
on Construction Projects . Jim Stevens presented an update
on Physical Facilities' ongoing renovation projects. Jill
Morelli presented an update on current construction and large renovation
projects.
Funding
Requests . Jim Stevens had a funding transfer request.
SFC approved transferring $35,000 from project #315-2003-910
to project #315-2003-937.
MOU/POR
Report . This was circulated before the meeting and there
were no comments or questions on the report.
Future
Agenda Item . It was suggested that there be a presentation
on the Library Remodeling/Renovation at the next Space Facilities
Committee meeting (October 21, 2004).
