Happy December to you all! To keep interested members of the university community informed about the SIS Project, a one-hour Town Hall Session was held on Tuesday, November 27th at Independence Hall.  After a brief introduction of the session and the project, I turned the podium over to SIS Project Director, Rick Termeer. Rick presented an overview of the project timeline and implementation plan, discussed system basics, and reviewed the components of the new OSU ID implementation. Training Developer, Aaron Minnick from the SIS Change Management team discussed the SIS modules, Student Self Service and To Do Lists, as well as system information of general interest to the university community.

As always, if you have any questions or comments, please send them to: sis@osu.edu

The COUNDOWN HAS BEGUN!

The planned implementations for the new Student Information System (SIS) will follow the life cycle of a student and will begin with admission applications in the Spring/Summer of 2008. While the Admissions implementation will occur first, the Project Team is also working on developing and testing all system functionality.

The graphic below represents the timeline when the new functionality is scheduled to “Go Live” in the new SIS:
