SIS eReports -
This online course has two components: the SIS Reporting Overview and the Navigation of SIS eReports.    The SIS Reporting Overview provides a foundation of reporting information including the different reporting tools and data sources.  The Navigation of SIS eReports familiarizes the student with using the  eReports portal and Interactive Reporting documents through various online demonstrations.  

* Students must pass the navigation course’s final assessment before proceeding to an instructor led class on data models.

eReports: Using the Student Records Course Model -
This hands on course will introduce 3 course related Interactive Reporting locked data models: Course Catalog, Schedule of Classes, and Subject Areas; and associated delivered queries.  Building on the skills acquired from SIS eReports, the prerequisite online course, students will practice using the Interactive Reporting tool with data models required by their colleges and departments.

eReports: Using the Student Records Student Model -
This course will introduce the Student Enrollment locked data model and associated delivered queries built to answer common student data statistical questions.  Through demonstrations and hands on exercises, participants will acquire skills using the delivered objects and generating ad hoc queries. 
Note: the actual student enrollment conversion into production will not occur until April 2009.

SIS Admissions Graduate Program Training: The Basics -
This course covers using AME (which has been recreated in PeopleSoft), requesting GPA calculations, searching for and understanding the Admissions Summary and Activity Summary pages, notifying the Financial Review department of program funding for international applicants, and nominating for Fellowships.

SIS AdmissionsGraduate Program Training: Decentralized Processes - This course is geared towards decentralized programs and covers program checklists and decision posting.  Only those who will be maintaining program checklists (formerly known as completion requirements) and/or posting admissions decisions will need to attend this session.

This online Introduction to Student Records includes Academic Structure and basics about courses and students.

Managing the Schedule of Classes -
This course provides the knowledge and skills needed to create the Schedule of Classes for a term including creating and updating class sections, updating class associations, defining class permissions, and creating combined sections.

This course provides the information you will need to maintain a student’s academic program and career term record, understand how batch term activation occurs and perform Quick Activation, create appointments for student enrollment, define enrollment blocks and manage waitlists, process withdrawals, cancellations and enrollment verification reports, assign advisors to students and use milestones, process grades, process/understand end-of-term reports and assign academic standing to students.
