SIS Training and Readiness

Training began in February 2008 for some central business area staff and college and department system users and will continue until the new SIS is fully implemented. Beginning in 2009, faculty, advisors, support staff and students will be invited to attend training sessions that relate to their job roles.
*If you receive an invitation to training, you should follow the process listed below:

RECEIVE AN INVITATION TO TRAINING

    Training invitees are identified by the central business area sponsors, as well as by the SIS College Implementation Managers (CIMs) and validated by the data stewards.

    If you have not been invited to training, please do not register. Rather, review the listing of SIS training sessions for information about the course content, the intended audience for each session, as well as prerequisite requirements that may be needed. Contact your supervisor or CIM representative to find out how you can be included in the appropriate upcoming training sessions.

    Where will your training session be held? The building name and room number will be included with your training session confirmation.

    Need to cancel or re-schedule your training session? Cancellations and re-scheduling can be completed through the Learning Center.

PREPARE FOR GO-LIVE OF NEW FUNCTIONALITY

Once you have completed training, we encourage you to practice what you've learned in the SIS Playground.

Important: Please remember to close your browser and re-open before logging in.
-Access link for SIS users only: SIS Playground - login using your internet username (name.#) and password (the same username and password you use for webmail).
-Access for HR users who are also SIS users: SIS Playground - login using your HR User ID and Password.
