Christina Dyar
Assistant ProfessorDyar’s research aims to understand and reduce health disparities affecting sexual and gender minority populations, with a focus on bisexual individuals, sexual minority women, and non-binary individuals. She is particularly interested in understanding mechanisms through which stigma-related stressors impact mental health and substance use. Dyar holds a BA in psychology from Michigan State University and an MA in social and health psychology and a PhD in social and health psychology from Stony Brook University. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Cincinnati and served as a research assistant professor at Northwestern University before joining the Ohio State faculty last fall.
