- Teaching practices inventory (TPI) - The TPI is a validated instrument developed at Stanford University and the University of British Columbia. Completing the 20 minute survey provides a structured way to reflect on your individual instructional approach and provides a baseline for faculty members as their teaching practices evolve.
- Teaching@OhioState learning modules and reading list - The modules, available on CarmenCanvas, and reading list provide resources to explore multiple perspectives and new approaches to teaching.
- A pilot program that offers an opportunity for faculty to redesign the structure and delivery of one of their courses. Beginning in spring semester 2019, faculty will be encouraged to design or redesign one (or more) of their principal courses to more fully incorporate evidence-based pedagogy, such as that illustrated in the TSP modules. Whether looking for ways to incorporate technology to enhance traditional teaching techniques, deepen immersion into a subject matter, improve teamwork and collaboration capabilities or extend courses to training or certificate offerings, the pilot program is designed to support continuous improvement in teaching.
