Established in 1989, this intensive experience develops leaders and managerial skills for faculty who have demonstrated exceptional ability and academic promise. Nominations of exceptional faculty are due by Tuesday, April 30, 2019.

The Academy of Teaching's Conference on Excellence in Teaching and Learning will be held Thursday, May 2, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the 4-H Center. This free event is for members of the Ohio State community to engage with innovative, interesting, and evidence-based ideas related to effective teaching and improving student learning.

The Patterson Lecture honors former Board of Trustees member Jim Patterson and the cause to which he is most committed, a vibrant University fulfilling its land-grant mission in an ever-changing world. This year's lecture, featuring Chancellor Rebecca Blank of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, will take place on Thursday, May 2.

The Chronic Brain Injury program offers up to five seed grants to multi-college teams of researchers studying either the relationship between injury and neurodegeneration or neuro-engineering approaches for brain injury detection, recovery or research. Letters of intent are due May 9.
