CFAES leadership announcement
With great pleasure, I write to advise you that we have recommended the appointment of Cathann Arceneaux Kress, PhD, currently vice president for extension and outreach and director of cooperative extension, Iowa State University, as vice president for agricultural administration and dean of the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences. Subject to approval by the Board of Trustees, Dr. Kress will begin her appointment on May 1, 2017.
UCAT Teaching Enhancement Program accepting applications for learning communities through March 6
The Ohio State Teaching Enhancement Programs (OSTEP) offer faculty, staff, and GTAs a year–long opportunity to focus on their teaching as part of a transdisciplinary community of peers, explore a variety of issues in university teaching, enhance their own teaching, and support the teaching of their colleagues.
Kirwan Institute's "Free to Ride" premieres 3/1 at Knowlton Hall
Experience the Columbus premiere of the film “Free to Ride”, a documentary produced by The Ohio State University's Kirwan Institute that seeks to address the question of whether or not public transportation is a civil rights issue. The screening is free and open to the public, and will take place in Knowlton Hall’s Gui Auditorium at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1.
