Assistant ProfessorSingh studies how sudden changes in the socioeconomic and health policy environment affect population mental health and health service utilization. Much of her work focuses on vulnerable groups such as low-income populations, racial minorities, children and persons with mental disorders. She earned a bachelor’s degree in biomedical instrumentation engineering from Avinashilingam University in India, a Master of Public Affairs in public policy analysis from the University of Texas at Austin, and a PhD in public health from the University of California, Irvine. She joined the Ohio State faculty in July 2021.
