Council on Academic Affairs

The Council on Academic Affairs, a standing committee of the University Senate, reviews and makes recommendations regarding all proposals for the establishment, alteration and abolition of all the university’s curricula and courses, degrees and certificates, colleges, divisions, departments, and schools, and centers and institutes. CAA also fosters interdisciplinary programs involving two or more academic areas and periodically reviews the academic organization of the university.
