During this interactive session, participants learned about the fundamental components of program assessment, design a basic plan for use in their own context, and discussed the benefits of assessment for faculty, staff and students.

Assessment of General Education: Where are We Now

Developing and implementing a shared assessment process for any program, especially one as large and decentralized as General Education, requires time and broad collaboration. Presenters shared the process of convening and coordinating stakeholders and experts to date, organizing outreach and data collection, and some of the results and lessons learned.
