Brad Harris

As vice president for resource and budget management, Brad Harris provides leadership, vision and strategic direction to advance the effectiveness and impact of our academic operations. He works across the Office of Academic Affairs (OAA) and our colleges and campuses, partnering with academic leaders and the Office of Business and Finance to set goals and ensure alignment between budget and strategy. Within OAA, he oversees business services, strategic data analysis and operations.

Previously, Harris served as chief of staff for the Enterprise for Research, Innovation and Knowledge (ERIK), where he oversaw administrative operations across the enterprise. Harris has been an influential leader and contributor to many initiatives that have supported our research community, including the 2020 return to research program. Before joining ERIK, Harris was assistant provost and chief administrative officer for OAA and provided administrative, fiscal and operational leadership to many facets of the organization. He also has held other positions at the university over the course of his Ohio State career.
