What we do

Elevate academic voice

  • Showcase academic life at Ohio State and increase space for the academic voice.
  • Inspire choice for Ohio State among current and prospective faculty, students, academic staff and partners.
  • Facilitate new experiences and ways of thinking for our audiences that create distinction for academics at Ohio State.

Advance collaborative excellence

  • Serve as strategic partners who provide expert counsel to academic leaders and partners.
  • Build mutually beneficial partnerships with colleges and academic units.
  • Be a trusted resource for academic communicators and marketers.

Lead culture and change management

  • Develop effective and engaging internal communications for OAA staff, academic leaders and faculty.
  • Lead change management communications that share vision, drive urgency and celebrate wins — big and small.

Enhance impact

  • Drive alignment across OAA to better leverage scale and resources and enhance efficacy and impact.
  • Develop and maintain a robust suite of communications and marketing channels and strategy to reach stakeholders and audiences.

Support we provide

Marketing and communications strategy

  • Develop marketing and communications methods to deliver calculated and purposeful content intentionally, working with our partners to create plans that meet their goals.
  • A meeting with a member of our team is required prior to start of project.
  • Marketing and communication strategy projects can take anywhere from a few weeks to several months.

Design

  • Create and/or coordinate digital and print design requests.
  • Some design requests may be outsourced and take additional time based on resources.

Email creation and distribution

  • Execute email-related communications (e.g., event solicitations, memos, employee awareness).
  • Distribution lists need to be provided prior to the decided send date.  

Event communications

  • Produce event deliverables (e.g., print and digital save the dates and invitations, programs and slide deck presentation)
  • A meeting is required with a member of our team prior to start of project.

Newsletters*

  • Engage audiences with organization updates through news, events or other related topics

Website development*
