Completion of Ohio State's ABA-approved Juris Doctor (J.D.) program meets state educational requirements to apply for admission to every state's bar. However, an individual may be required to complete non-credit courses or exams on state law to be eligible for admission. Links to state bar admission requirements are below.

Alabama

Completion of Ohio State's ABA-approved Juris Doctor (J.D.) program meets Alabama education requirements to apply for admission to the Bar. However, an individual must complete the online course on Alabama law  to be eligible for admission to the Alabama Bar.

Completion of Ohio State’s Master of Laws (LLM) program does not meet educational requirements to qualify for the JD exam in Alabama. 

Alaska

Completion of Ohio State's ABA-approved Juris Doctor (J.D.) program meets Alaska education requirements to apply for admission to the Bar. However, an individual must meet view a course on attorney ethics to be eligible for admission to the Alaska Bar.

Completion of Ohio State’s Master of Laws (LLM) program does not meet educational requirements to qualify for a JD exam in Alaska. 

Arizona

Completion of Ohio State's ABA-approved Juris Doctor (J.D.) program meets Arizona education requirements to apply for admission to the Bar. However, an individual must complete the Arizona Law Course  to be eligible for admission to the Arizona Bar.

Completion of Ohio State’s Master of Laws (LLM) program does not meet educational requirements to qualify for a JD exam in Arizona. 

Arkansas
