Description

We look forward to welcoming Dr. Robin R. Murphy (Texas A&M University; Carnegie Mellon University), presented as part of TDAI's yearlong research theme: Joint Human–AI Systems.

Dr. Murphy will discuss how drones, AI, and human–robot teaming support decision-making during disaster response and recovery. Her talk explores how imagery from UAS is transformed into actionable information, the role of transparency and human judgment in AI-enabled systems, and how improved human–computer interaction can reduce error and strengthen trust in high-stakes, time-critical environments.
