In 2027, The Ohio State University will welcome the Science Olympiad National Tournament to Columbus. Founded in 1984, Science Olympiad is the leading team STEM competition in the nation, providing standards-based challenges to 7,000 teams at 450 tournaments in all 50 states. NCAA Division I Academic Progress Rate (APR) data shows Ohio State, its student-athletes and athletic programs continue to perform at an outstanding level in the classroom.

Access to CarmenCanvas has been restored by the university. Ohio State worked closely with Instructure, the third-party operator of Canvas that suffered a cybersecurity incident, to verify the system was safe to reopen.
