January 13, 2026When used ethically and responsibly, AI-assisted technologies and tools can rapidly accelerate research progress and scholarly work. However, when used improperly or unethically, they can cause integrity concerns such as research misconduct, research security, privacy, data confidentiality and intellectual property rights. New AI research guidelines have been developed by the Enterprise for Research, Innovation and Knowledge in collaboration with the University Research Committee to serve as general guidance to the research community.
