James, MD, associate professor-clinical, in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, has accepted our offer to serve as the interim executive director of the Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity. Subject to approval by the Board of Trustees, his appointment is effective May 1, 2017, through April 30, 2018.
