Accelerator Awards Open for Spring Funding Round
Technology commercialization’s Accelerator Awards program provides Ohio State inventors up to $100,000 to advance and further develop promising technologies and bring them closer to market. Ohio State researchers who have disclosed their inventions to technology commercialization are eligible for the award. Rudmann Assumes Ombudsman Role
The new Faculty Ombudsman, Sally V. Rudmann, professor emeritus in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, is available to meet with faculty as a resource to help with mediation of complaints and issues and locating appropriate offices, committees and policies.
Larsen, Weinberg Receive Distinguished University Professor Awards
At the Board of Trustees meeting on Aug. 25, 2017, Executive Vice President and Provost Bruce A. McPheron recommended two faculty members to the Board of Trustees for conferment of the title of Distinguished University Professor, the highest honor the university bestows on a faculty member.
Physics' Johnston-Halperin Leads Collaboration to Develop Novel Organic-based Microwave Circuits
Physics Professor Ezekiel Johnston-Halperin is leading a collaboration between Ohio State, Yale, Iowa, and Colorado State backed by a $2 million National Science Foundation (NSF) Engineering Frontiers Research Initiative (EFRI) grant to develop a novel way to construct organic-based microwave circuits.
