Gregoire extended as dean of College of Social Work through June 2022
Dean Tom Gregoire will extend his leadership of the College of Social Work for another two years. Subject to approval by the Board of Trustees, his term as dean will be extended through June 30, 2022, at which time Tom anticipates returning to the faculty.Learn More

Joseph Brandesky tapped as interim dean and director for Lima campus
Joseph E. Brandesky Jr., PhD, The Martha W. Farmer Endowed Professor in Theatre and professor, Department of Theatre at the Ohio State University at Lima, will serve as the interim dean and director of our Lima campus. Subject to approval by the university's Board of Trustees, Professor Brandesky's appointment is effective July 8, 2017.
Vice Provost Wayne Carlson announces retirement
Wayne E. Carlson, PhD, vice provost for undergraduate studies and dean of undergraduate education, has announced his decision to retire from the university. Vice Provost Carlson's tenure at Ohio State has resulted in significant improvements for students, faculty, staff, administrators and support units in the colleges and on each of our campuses.
