Ohio State Lima to welcome Rehner as next dean and director
Provost Bruce McPheron announced today the selection of Dr. Tim Rehner to lead the Lima campus of The Ohio State University as dean and director. Subject to approval by the Board of Trustees, Rehner's appointment begins on April 1, 2019.Learn More

The Office of International Affairs is seeking applicants for the FY19 Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad (DDRA) Fellowships. The U.S. Department of Education funded grants support advanced graduate students studying modern foreign languages and area studies. Ohio Department of Higher Education Chancellor John Carey surprised Executive Vice President and Provost Bruce A. McPheron with The Chancellors Award, recognizing leadership and research on the effects of harmful algal bloom on water quality.
$20 million NSF grant continues climate change research
Heather Allen, professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, is a researcher for the Center for Aerosol Impacts on Climate and the Environment (CAICE) and studies how sea-spray aerosols influence climate change. CAICE recently received a $20 million grant from the National Science Foundation.
